Mike is a fully qualified Music Production specialist with a degree in Music Technology and a PGCE. He has been producing electronic music for 20 years and teaching for nearly 15. He has taught in colleges in England and Wales previously being head of Music Production at Riverside College. He has DJ’d up and down the country at clubs such as Cream, supporting artists such as Altern 8, A Guy Called Gerald and 2 Bad Mice. He is currently a resident at Bomba in Liverpool.
Mark is a seasoned veteran when it comes to both performing and teaching. Mark has toured the world DJing, from performing at the Qatar World Cup in 2022 to supporting some of the biggest musical talent in places such as LA, Miami and across Europe. Mark has also spent seasons in Ibiza holding some of the biggest residencies in venues such as Eden and Es Vive.
Mark has used his ongoing experience when nurturing and guiding the next generation of DJs at Liverpool DJ Academy and is an elite tutor.
Mollie a young, talented DJ who came through Liverpool DJ Academy as a student. When Mollie graduated from LDJA, she made big waves on the Liverpool club scene, making appearances at legendary clubs and events such as the 051 and Face Events while holding down residencies at some of the coolest bars and clubs in the city. Mollie is now a tutor at Liverpool DJ Academy is and passing on all of the knowledge she gained along the way.
LDJA founder and Managing Director, Sam, had a long career in the music industry, working world wide for multiple industry brands and recording music with a wide variety of labels. Sam had multiple Ibiza residencies at Space with Carl Cox and Come Together as well as Together at Amnesia. Sam was also one of he front line residents for the world wide label and brand Pukka Up for a number of years.
Now sam puts his time and energy into ensuring that Liverpool DJ Academy offers the best learning environment for budding DJs and producers as well as people just wanting to have that experience of spinning the ‘wheels of steel’.
